At 5pm on Saturday the 26th July Antiquum Documentum in collaboration with St. Bartholomew the Great, Smithfield will be holding a reconstruction of the Litany and Communion services from the 1549 Prayer Book, including music from the Lumley and Wanley partbooks, as well a sermon on obedience from the First Book of Homilies of 1547. Entry is free and all are very welcome to come and see this fascinating, transient liturgy demonstrating the Reformation in action.
